Civil Litigation
Civil litigation is a process of resolving disputes between two or more parties who are seeking financial or equitable compensation. These disputes could be among business partners, through a landlord/tenant arrangement, or between parties to an agreement. Stratton Ashtyani is here to help you navigate the litigation process and help resolve the dispute, whether that is through a negotiated settlement, mediation, arbitration, or a traditional court action.
Probate Litigation
When beneficiaries of an estate disagree on how to manage an estate or how to distribute estate assets, one or more of those interested parties can choose to litigate the dispute. The State Surrogate Court generally handles probate litigation, but it can also be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration. Whatever path is chosen, probate litigation can be a stressful and emotional process, especially after losing a loved one.
At Stratton Ashtyani, we understand how difficult it is for families to deal with the various legal issues of the probate process. We specialize in assisting with every step, including contested wills, issues with executors, or any other conflicts that may arise. We will ensure a timely resolution while keeping stress to a minimum.
We have over a decade of experience, both as mediators and as representatives of parties in mediation, to help our clients resolve their civil and probate litigation disputes quickly and efficiently.
